Pattern Review: S8054+ Denim vest

I think this year, I need to go through my patterns and either attempt to make them all or get rid of some of them.  I made this vest as a way to use up some of my stash, I though a denim vest would be versatile.  I really like the vest, but as my wearable muslin, there are some adjustments that need to be made to get it to where I love it.  I think a Crepe might drape nicely and is one of the recommended fabrics.  A light weight Chambray might be nice also.  Anyway, I like the fact that I don't have to do an FBA so I'd say this is a success.

Pattern Description:
This lined vest pattern in 3 styles includes separate pattern pieces for B, C, D, DD cup sizes for the perfect fit. It's a great item to add to your wardrobe that easily pulls together any look. Knit top included.  I made view D
Pattern Sizing:
16-24, I cut a 22 D cup and graded out to a 24 at the hip
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I would say yes, however, I had to pay attention to how the instructions showed you how to attach the vest to the lining.  One issue I have is they don’t tell you to under stitch the lining to the outer fabric.  I didn’t realize the step was missing until I started to hand stitch the lining closed.  Normally I would have opened up, but I was lazy.  The instructions also did not give you the option to topstitch view D.  I will probably topstitch to keep the lining in place, it peeks out a bit since I didn’t under stitch.  I also didn’t like the recommended fusible interfacing for the front facing, I will use a sew-in interfacing next time, I don’t like fusible on large surfaces.  I would say it's good for beginners because there isn't much fitting, if you use our body measurements.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the variations of the vest that it’s lined, and that the pattern includes a basic knit top.   The obvious like is the different cup sizes, anytime a pattern doesn’t require a FBA is a great day and a great pattern.  Only dislike would be that there isn’t a shorten/lengthen line on the pattern pieces, I didn’t need to, but it would have been nice to have those lines printed on the pieces for View D.
Fabric Used:
I used a light weight Denim, and an authentic African Wax fabric
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Next time:
* I will narrow the shoulders 5/8 inch
* Wide back adjustment
* Use sew in interfacing for front facing
* Under stitch lining before turning
The only design change I actually made was leaving off the welt.  It hit my upper hip at a weird spot and it made me appear to have flaps there, not a good look.  I went for a smooth look over the upper hip area.
Would you sew it again?
I don’t know, maybe in a crepe.
Would you recommend it to others?
Sure, cute vest with a lining and different cup sizes.
